    • A message from Robert Maxfield, Chief Executive

      As we approach the upcoming PGA Graduation Ceremony at the University of Birmingham on Thursday 30th April 2026, I want to emphasise the significance of this moment in your journey towards becoming a PGA Professional. The PGA are eagerly anticipating the day when we can gather to celebrate your Graduation and welcome you to The PGA Membership, we look forward to having your family and friends join us in honouring this special occasion.

    Timings for the day - Thursday 30th April 2026

     

    10:30 - 12:30

    Graduation registration desk opens. Arrival is at your own leisure but please register by 12:30.

     

    10:30 - 12:30

    PGA Members’ blazers/ties/scarves available for collection.

     

    11:30 - 13:30

    Photography areas open.

     

    11:30 - 13:30

    Buffet lunch in Staff House (please note there is limited seating available).

     

    13:00*

    The Great Hall opens, Graduates and guests may take their seats.

     

    14:00

    PGA Graduation Ceremony commences.

     

    *13.45 Graduates must be in their allocated seat ready for a brief overview of the ceremony.

    The graduate group photo will take place immediately following the ceremony, on the steps outside the Great Hall.

    Once the ceremony has concluded, we kindly ask for all guests to remain in the Great Hall for a few moments whilst graduates line up for the official group photo.

    Refreshments will be served in the foyer of the Great Hall foyer following the group photograph.
