A warm welcome: PGA induction days inspire Year 1 Trainees

Rick Sessinghaus, coach to two-time Major winner Collin Morikawa, will lead a brilliant line-up of speakers for the eagerly anticipated 2023 Online European Golf Coaching Conference.

The two-day event, supported by GASP Systems, allows delegates to learn, listen and interact with some of the world’s leading coaches in different areas of expertise from the comfort of their own home.

Leading the way is Sessinghaus (pictured) who will be outlining his critical success factors for player development and his ‘FlowCode’ methodology. Sessinghaus will also speak about his relationship with Morikawa, who he has coached since the age of eight.

PGA Professionals Lee Cox and Steve Furlonger will be combining to give the ultimate presentation on power and force. Cox, coach to multiple World Long Drive Champions, will be focused on how to get speed from above the ground, while Furlonger, who is a consultant to a number DP World Tour players, will focus on getting speed from under the ground – through ground reaction forces.

Dr Mark Bull, a 3B biomechanics expert who is at the cutting edge of research in looking to better understand movement patterns and coach interventions, will also be presenting some of his research and knowledge. He will deliver this information in a practical way with concepts and drills that coaches can use with their clients.

Short game guru and coach to the likes of Justin Rose and Francesco Molinari, PGA Professional James Ridyard, will be revealing the latest research, techniques and coaching strategies to give delegates the tools to lower their clients scores, irrespective of their handicap.

Putting coach and PGA Professional Mike Kanski will be highlighting some of his learnings direct from the DP World Tour through working with Martin Kaymer, Adri Arnaus, Matt Wallace and many others.

PGA Coach Gavin Grenville-Wood, a pioneer of building successful junior academies worldwide, will deliver the critical keys to coaching juniors to build a lifelong passion for the game.

In addition, golf coaching business guru Steve Astle will outline critical strategies to gain more income and build your coaching career and business. PGA Coach Astle will help delegates create a platform for them to have a career best season and earn more whilst being able to retain the all-important work/life balance.

PGA Members interested in joining the conference can receive a 10 per cent discount off the 249 Euro price using the discount code PGA.
