The R&A is recruiting a team of PGA Professionals to undertake golf coaching at the 2023 AIG Women’s Open at Walton Heath from 9-13th August, 2023.
The selected PGA Professionals will be required to deliver professional golf sessions to a wide variety of participants and will be expected to adapt their delivery to suit an individual’s requirements, ensuring a player-centered approach.
Sessions aim to inspire each golfer and motivate them to increase their participation, retention and progression in golf as well as showcase the value and expertise of the PGA Professional.
Coaches will be required to be SafeGolf accredited (www.safegolf.org) and have a current criminal records check (DBS, PVG, Access NI or Garda Vetting) and a valid Safeguarding and Protecting Children (SPC) certificate (Scotland: SPC or Child Wellbeing & Protection in Sport), both issued within the last 3 years. These must be valid at the time of the Championship.
