Everything you need to know about the 2025 Midlands Awards

The St. James’s Place National Pro-Am Championship is back this year with almost 150 clubs already entered into one of the UK’s most popular pro-ams.

Open to both male and female amateurs aged 18 or over and based at a golf club in the UK or Ireland, the event pairs PGA Professionals with an amateur from their club to embark on a unique golfing journey.

Amateurs who win their club's qualifying round will be able to partner their PGA Professional at one of seven spectacular Regional Finals and, if successful there, the next stage is a paid trip to Turkey for the Grand Final.

Here are FIVE reasons why you should enter this year’s championship:

1. This unique event allows you to compete against your fellow amateurs in a club competition with the winner competing alongside your PGA Professional and representing your club in an international competition.

2. If you win your club qualifier, you will play alongside your PGA Professional at one of seven stunning Regional Final venues across the UK and Ireland. They are: Montrose Links, Pleasington, Seapoint Links, High Post, East Herts, Sherwood Forest, Kings Hill.

3. Be in with a chance of winning a paid trip to the five-star PGA National Turkey for the Grand Final. Finalists will stay at the luxurious Kempinski Hotel The Dome, which has recently undergone a €2million room refurbishment programme.

4. Should your club qualify for the Grand Final, you will get to play Antalya Golf Club’s outstanding PGA Sultan course and enjoy a golfing experience like no other.

5. You can start your St. James’s Place National Pro-Am Championship journey today by entering for just £3! Speak to your club’s PGA Professional for more information and to enter!
