A warm welcome: PGA induction days inspire Year 1 Trainees

Golfbreaks have announced the launch of a new series of Inspection Trips, offering PGA Members across the UK and Ireland the opportunity to visit and experience PGA Branded Properties across Europe ahead of hosting future group bookings.

The PGA’s partnership with Golfbreaks, which dates back to 2007, has long focused on providing PGA Members with dedicated support through the Golfbreaks Pro Travel Club – a programme designed specifically to help pros organise and deliver unforgettable golf trips for their members and clients. As part of the Club, PGA Members receive bespoke travel planning, dedicated account management, market-leading incenties and access to exclusive experiences such as these inspection trips.

This year’s inspection trips series will include hosted visits to three of Europe’s premier PGA Branded Properties:

  1. PGA National Italy – Argentario Golf & Wellness Resort (October 2025)
  2. PGA Stadium Course, Camiral – Camiral, a Quinta do Lago Resort, Spain  (November 2025)
  3. PGA National Cyprus – Aphrodite Hills Resort (December 2025)

Each destination has been handpicked for its world-class golf facilities, luxury accommodation, accessibility, and suitability for pro-led group travel. Whether it’s the dramatic coastal setting of Argentario, the award-winning championship layout at Camiral, or the stunning Mediterranean backdrop of Aphrodite Hills, these venues offer everything a PGA Member needs to deliver a first-class group experience.

These fully hosted trips are designed to give Members a chance to:

  • Assess venue suitability for future groups in a relaxed, no-pressure environment
  • Meet and engage with fellow PGA Professionals and build valuable peer connections
  • Experience the venue as their clients would – from the welcome to the final putt
  • Strengthen relationships with the Golfbreaks Pro Travel team for future trip planning
  • Explore local culture, cuisine and service – critical elements in group satisfaction

Duncan Rougvie, Head of Commercial –at The PGA, urges Members to seize the opportunity. He says:

“These trips present a valuable opportunity for PGA Members to experience some of Europe’s finest PGA Branded Properties first-hand.

“By continuing to create opportunities like this with our Partner Golfbreaks, we’re supporting Members in delivering high-quality golf travel experiences for their clients.

“It’s a great way for Members to assess venues, build connections and gain insights that will only enhance their group travel planning.”

Ben Foster, Director of Pro Travel at Golfbreaks, commented:

"Our mission is to make group travel as seamless, rewarding, and successful as possible for PGA Professionals. These inspection trips give Pros a chance to explore world-class destinations with the full support of our team – not just to help them plan the perfect trip, but also to build long-term trust and confidence in Golfbreaks as a partner."

Each trip features a curated itinerary that includes golf, venue tours, networking dinners and time to enjoy the destination. Spaces are strictly limited and available to PGA Professionals who are members of the Golfbreaks Travel Club.

PGA Members who are part of the Golfbreaks Travel Club can register their interest now. Spaces are limited and expected to fill quickly.
