A warm welcome: PGA induction days inspire Year 1 Trainees

The Professional Golfers’ Association is saddened to learn of the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, long-standing Patron of The PGA. We extend our sincere condolences to The Royal Family at this time.

Robert Maxfield, Chief Executive of The Professional Golfers’ Association, said: “As the nation prepares for Her Majesty’s funeral on Monday 19 September, as a mark of our respect, throughout the UK we will be closing our offices and our tournaments will be postponed. On behalf of the Members and staff of The PGA, I would like to offer our deepest sympathies to the Royal Family. At this time for reflection and gratitude, we are immensely proud that Her Majesty The Queen was Patron of the Association.”
