A warm welcome: PGA induction days inspire Year 1 Trainees

The PGA’s Find a Golf Lesson initiative has been upgraded and will in the coming weeks be relaunched as a standalone digital platform – called PGA Play - now is the time for you to build/improve your FREE online profile.

PGA Play will be  launched to enable golfers to locate and connect with their nearest PGA Professional, as well as being inspired by a range of instruction and golf-related content.

Existing PGA Member profiles have been moved across from the Find a Golf Lesson platform, with more 1,000 PGA Members creating a profile.

PGA Members who haven’t signed up to take full advantage of this FREE opportunity are being encouraged to do so, and we are asking those who already have to bolster their profiles.

How to create your profile?

  1. Visit the ‘PGA Play profile page' page in the Members’ area of pga.info.
  2. Follow the on-screen instructions to update your details, including information about your qualifications and specialisms.
  3. Upload a suitable image/video to boost your profile.
  4. Submit your details!

There are a number of ways you can improve your profile, which will increase your chances of landing more business/lessons through the new PGA Play platform.

  • Choosing a suitable profile image will help you stand out from the crowd,
  • A personal biography outlining what services you can offer potential customers can really lift your profile
  • An impactful statement at the end of your profile leaves a good impression.

Matthew Pugh (John Reay Golf Centre), commented: “The process is very straightforward and after a few clicks, your profile is set up and you are ready to be found by your next client.”

Anna Smith (London Golf Club), added: “Setting up my Find a Golf Lesson profile was very simple and has allowed me to reach an audience that I wouldn’t have reached without it. Within a few days of launching, I received my first lesson enquiry, which turned into a new lesson booking.”
