A warm welcome: PGA induction days inspire Year 1 Trainees

Two enhancements have been added to the PGA Learn platform to improve your user experience, writes Mark Skinner, the PGA’s Head of Business and Management Department.

Firstly, once you click on a tile from the main PGA Learn dashboard, a menu appears to enable you to browse by subcategory, helping you to find the content you’re most interested in quicker. These sub-categories are identical to the sub-sections featured within The PGA’s Four Value Blocks.

Secondly, once you have finished a piece of content, the platform will recommend content from the same category.

PGA Learn delivers a wide range of learning and CPD content – including eLearning courses, videos, podcasts, webinars, in addition to PDF and other documents all accessible 24/7. This allows you to choose what content you consume and how you experience it.

Content has also been carefully selected and curated from high-quality third-party sources – such as UK Coaching, YouTube videos, journals and blogs, so you don’t have to spend time searching the Internet for the best and most relevant content out there.

All content on the platform has been carefully aligned to the Association’s Core Value Blocks. This organises all learning content to help you find what you are looking for and it also ensures all future content available on PGA Learn is relevant to you and the role you play in the golf industry.

New content is constantly being added to the platform and the intention is to continue to build a comprehensive offer which provides different types of content for every sub-section within each Value Block at different levels, to cater for those working at different levels of expertise and those wishing to develop higher levels of expertise.
