The PGA is pleased to confirm the remaining events for the 2026 tournament schedule, including the WPGA Series, the newly introduced Senior and Trainee schedules, the Winter Series, and Pro-Ams. These additions complete a calendar designed to expand playing opportunities while supporting the long-term financial sustainability of PGA tournaments.

Following the announcement of the Callaway PGA National Tournament Schedule, the final events of the season have now been confirmed, continuing the tradition of premium venues and introducing fresh tournament formats.

WPGA Series introduces new venues as old favourites return

Headlined by the flagship Women’s PGA Professional and Assistants’ Championship at Carden Park Golf Club, the WPGA Series comprises six events forming the WPGA Order of Merit.

The series tees off in May at Donegal Golf Club, coinciding with the WPGA Pro-Am, and concludes at Royal Troon Golf Club in September – a returning favourite for many WPGA Members.

Other highlights include a double visit to the Midlands in July and August, with Ladbrook Park Golf Club and Blackwell Golf Club joining the 2026 schedule.

Senior & Trainee events combine in England & Wales

2026 sees the introduction of Senior and Trainee events, a new and expanded product which sees Senior and Trainee tournaments delivered concurrently on the same day, at the same venue. With prize money defined by number of entries, these events are open to any Senior and Trainee in England & Wales, regardless of their region.

Kicking off in April at Redditch Golf Club, the series spans across the season, concluding at Brampton Park Golf Club at the end of September. Other venues to feature include Royal Ascot Golf Club in May and Helsby Golf Club in June.

Winter Series expands across three Regions

The Winter Series for 2026 will now take place across three geographical areas in the South, West and East and is open to all Members in England & Wales. In what is considered a trialled expansion for 2026, prize money will be defined by the number of entries and the schedule will provide competitive opportunities early in the season, while also considering existing County-level activity during the winter months.

The series will begin in March 2026 featuring venues include West Surrey, Camberley Heath and Farnham Golf Club.

A new strategy for Pro-Ams

A total of 149 Pro-Ams have been launched for 2026 and as previously communicated, several of these events will adopt an open structure for Members in England & Wales where growth and development are possible, or where numbers of entries are challenged – while others will remain Regional.

Commenting on the schedule, Phil Davies, PGA Head of Tournaments, said:

“Again, we’re pleased to be able to launch these tournament schedules even earlier than last year. It’s important for us to provide as much notice as possible so that Members can plan their seasons as efficiently as possible.

"We’re really excited to be rolling out the dedicated Senior and Trainee events across England and Wales in 2026. This builds on the successful model we’ve seen in the Midlands over recent seasons, and it’s important we keep creating meaningful playing opportunities for all parts of our Membership.

"We’ve also taken a big step forward with our Regional Pro-Am schedule. Opening up many events to all Members in England & Wales means more PGA Members can compete, no matter where they’re based.

“The WPGA Series looks to build on a successful 2025 season, with the additions of Blackwell GC and Ladbrook Park GC to the schedule for the new season. Returning to past favourites alongside introducing new venues ensures the schedule matches the high standard of golf on display.

“We’ve already seen strong entry numbers for both National Tournaments as well as Open Series events which reflects the enthusiasm and engagement of our Members. To secure your spot and avoid disappointment, we strongly encourage all Members to submit their entries as early as possible.”
