A warm welcome: PGA induction days inspire Year 1 Trainees

PGA Principal Partner, FootJoy, has relaunched the #FJThanksaPGAPro campaign for 2022/23, in partnership with The PGA.

Launching on December 8th and celebrating PGA Members who have best served their clubs and local communities over the past year, #FJThanksaPGAPro will once again allow golfers to show their appreciation for the outstanding service they receive.

With promotion for the campaign expected to run until January 6th, golfers from around the country can vote for PGA Members by nominating them through a dedicated webpage by CLICKING HERE.

Two overall PGA Professional winners will be handpicked by a combined FJ and PGA panel and will win a pair of FJ MyJoys and a FJ waterproof suit. Those who nominate the two winning PGA Members will receive a pair of MyJoys & a FJ Midlayer with one lucky winner selected randomly per PGA Professional.

The competition will also reward golfers who participate and share their support for PGA Professionals as in addition to the main prizes, three entrants and their nominated Pro will be randomly selected to win a pair of FJ shoes each. Also, the first 25 participants to share their nominations will receive a pair of FJ socks.

FJ Brand Director, Russell Lawes, said: “PGA Members are a crucial touchpoint for golfers everywhere and in recognition of this, with the privileged position FJ holds as the country’s favourite golf footwear manufacturer, we believe it’s our responsibility to recognise excellence among those who represent the best of the golf industry.

“Last year, it was extremely heartening to read the nominations of golfers from around the country who took the time to put their pros forward. I look forward to reading more of the same again this year.”

Robert Maxfield, Chief Executive of The PGA, pledged his support for the campaign, adding: “I am delighted that we are working alongside our long-standing Principal Partner FootJoy once again and championing PGA Members for the incredible work they do at all levels of the game.“The #FJThanksaPGAPro campaign deservedly shines a light and highlights the important role PGA Professionals play in helping and supporting hundreds of thousands of people each year who want to take up golf or improve their game.”
