A warm welcome: PGA induction days inspire Year 1 Trainees

The PGA is pleased to announce a new partnership with Toptracer, the world’s number one range technology – a collaboration that is set to improve the way PGA Members learn, coach and connect with golfers.

The partnership will see Toptracer technology embedded throughout a PGA Member’s coaching journey. From the earliest stages of training, aspiring coaches will be introduced to advanced tools that build confidence, provide meaningful data insights, and enhance their ability to analyse and inspire players.

Central to this is the integration of Toptracer Technology into the PGA Member and Trainee experience to enhance their learning process and develop their coaching practice. By incorporating Toptracer’s range of tools, from game-like challenges such as Toptracer 30 and Toptracer 12 to its dedicated coaching platform Toptracer Coach, PGA Members and Trainees can gather meaningful insights, assess performance, benchmark progress and deliver more targeted, effective coaching.

The collaboration will also leverage the PGA’s communication channels and the PGA Play platform to connect more golfers with PGA Members, showcasing the benefits of Toptracer’s role in technology-enhanced coaching and reinforcing both Toptracer and The PGA’s commitment to innovation in the sport.

“Our role is to give PGA trainees the foundations to become effective coaches, and technology is central to that. Toptracer’s coaching tools make every shot more meaningful, from coaching to purposeful practice and family fun, and we’ll work closely together to align their product with great coaching practice” Commented David Colclough, Head of Coaching & Sport Science at The PGA.

Peter Barry, Senior Director of Global Sales at Toptracer added: “Aligning with The PGA is hugely significant for us. Our coach product is a natural fit for their business, helping us become part of every golfer’s journey and making that experience more meaningful through coaching and practice.

“We’re at the first stages of this evolution, and we believe this will take coaching to another level, even for elite players. The PGA is held in such high esteem, and for us to be aligned with them carries real significance.”

Richard Barker PGA, Executive Director – Business Development commented: “This partnership with Toptracer reflects our commitment to ensuring PGA Members have access to the market leading products and services that add value to their day-to-day work.

“Whether that’s through supporting a golfers development using meaningful data or analysis and improving the experience on the driving range, Toptracer helps our Members deliver a better experience,”
