A warm welcome: PGA induction days inspire Year 1 Trainees

The PGA will host ten of its PGA Branded Properties and its PGA Partner 59 Club, at the annual International Golf Travel Market (IGTM) event at Feira Internacional de Lisboa, Lisbon between 16-19 October 2023.

The IGTM is one of the largest dedicated meeting events in golf, typically attracting more than 1,300 attendees who participate in over 13,000 meetings over the three day event. It enables top-producing private travel agents and tour operators to connect with golf courses, destinations, and resorts, creating new business opportunities.

The PGA will attend the IGTM for a fifth year, hosting many of its highest profile Branded Property clients. Guy Moran, Head of Trademarks and Commercial Support at The PGA, will be there along with Alicia Green, Partnerships Executive.

Commenting on the upcoming IGTM event, Moran said: “The PGA is delighted to host many of its PGA Branded Properties on stand B30: the recently announced new PGA National Croatia at Golf Adriatic, together with the existing PGA Nationals of Cyprus (Aphrodite Hills), Czech Republic (Oaks Prague), England (The Belfry), Italy (Argentario), Ireland (Slieve Russell), Poland (Modry Las), Scotland (Gleneagles) and Turkey (Antalya); plus Carden Park Hotel, which incorporates a PGA Golf Academy.

"PGA Partner 59 Club provides extensive support and assistance to our property clients as part of their overall relationship with The PGA, and it is fantastic to have them with us on this year’s PGA Branded Properties stand.”

Moran added: “The IGTM is invaluable to The PGA to help promote its family of PGA Branded Properties on an international stage, providing each of them with the opportunity to grow their business and presence in the market. It is also a fantastic networking event where The PGA hopes to meet new resorts who are interested in exploring opportunities to join the family of outstanding PGA Branded Properties.”
