The PGA announce a three-year extension of its long-standing partnership with Xpos, reinforcing a shared commitment to supporting PGA Members in running more efficient and profitable retail operations.

Founded by Phil Barnard and led alongside Managing Director Claire Fraser, Xpos has worked closely with PGA Members for many years, providing education, insight, and practical support across a range of PGA platforms. The company’s first involvement with The PGA came in 2015 as an official supplier of business software solutions, before becoming a PGA Partner in 2019 and renewing the partnership again in 2023. This latest extension reflects the ongoing value Xpos delivers to PGA Members and the wider golf industry.

Commenting on the extension, Duncan Rougvie, PGA Head of Commercial said: “We are delighted to extend our partnership with Xpos for a further three years. Their systems play a vital role in supporting the retail needs of our Members and have already helped many to streamline their businesses.

At its core, Xpos is an ePOS and business management system designed specifically for golf businesses, many of which are operated by PGA Members. Its purpose is simple: to give Members greater freedom in how they run their businesses while helping them drive increased profitability.

A key strength of the platform is its ability to turn data into practical, actionable insight. Recently transitioning to a cloud-based system, Xpos now offers improved integrations with third-party tools, enhanced retail functionality, and greater accessibility for PGA Members worldwide.

The impact of a robust ePOS system can be significant. On average, golf shops using Xpos generate thousands of £'s of benefit - through time and improved cash flow, allowing PGA Members to streamline processes and spend more time focused on coaching, retail strategy, and delivering an excellent customer experience. Now used by PGA Members globally, Xpos also helps retailers reduce excess stock, make smarter buying decisions, and improve margins.
