Stephen Cooper (1952-2026

Applications for Company Board of Directors for East & Midlands Regions are now open, as the Association seek new representatives to promote the long-term, sustainable success of the Association and improve the personal and professional lives of our Members.

Members of the Board play a vital part in ensuring the Association remains strong, stable and focused on the future. This is a generalist role which provides PGA Members an opportunity to contribute their skill, insight and passion to our Association. That input is integral to The PGA’s mission and values.

Members of the Board of Directors hold the significant responsibility of Company Director and are registered as such with Companies House. The Board provide entrepreneurial leadership to the Association, agreeing strategy, future direction and governance whilst ensuring the availability of resources to fulfil the needs of PGA Members.

Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, attending and participating in quarterly Board meetings at PGA Head Office, Centenary House, The Belfry, attending the AGM, annual joint Board and Executive Committee and any other additional meetings. Also, Directors are required to participate in strategy meetings, attend quarterly regional committee meetings and other ad hoc meetings as and when required.

If you have good multi-functional business experience, enjoy working collaboratively and have the associated professional skills to shape our strategic direction, ensure good governance practices and provide knowledgeable input to decisions that enable us to deliver Company objectives, our Regional Committee would be interested ​to hear from you.
