A warm welcome: PGA induction days inspire Year 1 Trainees

PGA Members are invited to help shape the future of your Association by attending your Regional Member Meeting in early 2025.

The PGA can confirm the return of our Regional Member Meetings in January and we invite PGA Members to join us to discuss the future of the Association. These meetings provide a unique opportunity identify the key issues facing our regions and share ideas and plans for the year ahead.

The 2025 meetings will kick off in the East region on January 7th at Canons Brook Golf Club and will conclude in Ireland on January 29th at The K Club. These meetings will take place across the UK and Ireland, offering Members from every region the chance to come together.

This is your chance to hear from PGA Chief Executive Robert Maxfield and the senior leadership team, including PGA Chairman Alan White, Richard Barker (Executive Director – Business Development), Tristan Crew (Executive Director – Membership Services), Paul Wiseman (Executive Director – Education), and Joe Kelly (Head of Membership Support).

“This will be an opportunity to hear directly about our vision, how we are supporting your success and the steps we are taking to uphold the PGA’s position as the leading Members’ organisation in sport,” said Maxfield.

“Additionally, we will celebrate excellence by presenting regional awards to distinguished PGA Members and recognising those who have achieved or advanced their PGA Excel status.”

The meetings will offer both formal presentations and informal networking opportunities, including discussions over lunch. You will be able to reflect on the past year, hear about the latest initiatives and share your feedback on the direction of The PGA. This is your opportunity to influence the Association’s future and the growth of the game. We encourage Members to register for their regional meeting, of which details can be found below:
