A warm welcome: PGA induction days inspire Year 1 Trainees

The deadline for bookings for the eagerly anticipated PGA Members’ International Conference, which returns to the Thailand next month, is fast approaching.

A limited number of spaces remain available for the conference at the world-renowned Laguna Phuket, Thailand, which takes place from 20th-23rd March, 2023.

As well as a line-up of impressive speakers, which includes DP World Tour and Asian Tour short game specialist coach, Matthew Tipper, the conference will bring PGA Members and golfing delegates together from all over the world for a networking event like no other.

PGA Chief Executive, Robert Maxfield, will also be in attendance to provide International Members with an update on the Association’s activities in 2022, which included the launch of PGA Play and PGA Excel. He will also brief Members on The PGA’s plans for 2023 and beyond.

In addition to the education element and the chance to learn from golf industry experts, the conference affords delegates superb networking opportunities with more than 50 PGA members from 16 countries attending the last time the conference was held in 2019.

“The conference is a great way to meet fellow Members, share ideas and learn from some of the most respected figures the golf industry,” said Wayne Johnson, PGA Regional Manager (Overseas).

“We received lots of incredible feedback from Members and delegates who attended our last conference in 2019 and we are confident of putting on another fantastic event for all PGA Members to attend in 2023.”

The PGA is delighted to welcome Toro as sponsor for this year’s PGA Members’ International Conference. As sponsor, Toro will be supporting PGA Members at the conference with educational content and updates on their latest technology, products and services to help Members make informed decisions on what is a significant investment in turf machinery.
