A warm welcome: PGA induction days inspire Year 1 Trainees

As part of the new tournament strategy and commercial tournament partnership framework that was recently shared with Members, The PGA is delighted to announce a new tournament partner – premium English wine producer Silverhand Estate.

As a tournament partner, Silverhand Estate will exclusively supply its range of wines for selected PGA tournaments and events, and PGA Members will benefit from discounts and offers on Silverhand Estate products. In partnering with The PGA, Silverhand Estate join other long-term sponsors, including SkyCaddie and Coca Cola Euro-Pacific Partners, and help to elevate the tournament offering – while at the same time enjoying the significant benefits of operating in this space.

“We are thrilled to join forces with The PGA,” said Gary Smith, CEO of MDCV UK, parent company of Silverhand Estate. “Our commitment to producing exceptional wines perfectly aligns with The PGA’s dedication to creating excellence in golf. Together we look forward to enhancing the overall experience for the golfing community throughout the UK & Ireland.”

Located in the heart of the Kent countryside, Silverhand Estate launched its full range last year and has quickly established itself as one of the premier producers of English sparkling wines. With its core principles of quality, innovation and sustainability – and as the owner of the largest single organic vineyard in the UK - Silverhand Estate has ambitious plans to become the leading producer of English sparkling wines in this fast-growing industry.

“We are delighted to welcome Silverhand Estate into our tournament partner portfolio,” said Richard Barker PGA, Executive Director – Business Development. “Winning a tournament is a significant achievement and we are delighted to be able to elevate that celebratory moment for PGA Members – along with any amateurs competing in PGA tournaments - thanks to the addition of Silverhand to our tournament partner framework.”
