A warm welcome: PGA induction days inspire Year 1 Trainees

With the help of four PGA coaches, Olympic equestrian Zara Tindall, tennis coach Judy Murray, Doctor and TV personality Zoe Williams and Sky Sports Boxing presenter Anna Woolhouse are taking part in a unique golf challenge to learn how to play the game.

The Slingsby Golf Academy returns for a second series in 2022 and once again aims to inspire more women to get into golf and to champion the social side of the sport.

All four celebrities will start their journey together as beginners and will work alongside PGA professional partners to get to grips with the game in just six months before competing for a place at the highly sought-after BMW PGA Celebrity Pro-Am in September.

Watch Episode One

The first episode of the second series is now as the 2022 recruits tee off their golf journey at Wentworth.

Brand new host and golf enthusiast Anton Dubeke and returning mentor and professional golfer Inci Mehmet welcome the girls to the world of golf and hit things off with a fun driving range session.

The cadets share their personal reasons for getting involved in the Slingsby Golf Academy initiative and last year's winner Helen Skelton looks back on her incredible journey in 2021.
