A warm welcome: PGA induction days inspire Year 1 Trainees

You still have time to book your place at the eagerly anticipated annual PGA Lunch this December with former US Open winner, Olympic Gold medallist and Ryder Cup legend, Justin Rose.

Hosted by popular BBC golf broadcaster and presenter Iain Carter, the event returns to London’s Grosvenor House Hotel on Friday 15th December, 2023.

Rose is the special guest for the event this year and will look back on what has been a hugely successful career in golf.

Rose lifted the US Open in 2012 at Merion Golf Club, Pennsylvania and three years later he represented Great Britain at the 2016 Olympics, winning a Gold Medal in Rio de Janeiro where he also made history by becoming the first player to hit a hole-in-one in the Olympics.

A former World Number One, Rose will represent Europe for the sixth time as a player later this month at Italy’s Marco Simone Golf and Country Club after being announced as one of Luke Donald’s Captain’s Picks.

Rose has already won the Ryder Cup three times in 2012, 2014 and 2018 and has won more than 20 titles worldwide.

Commenting on Rose’s appearance at this year’s PGA Lunch in London, Robert Maxfield, Chief Executive of The PGA, said: “We are looking forward to what will be a hugely popular and entertaining afternoon with one of the greatest British players of the modern era.

“Justin has won at all levels of the game including that historic Olympic Gold in Rio back in 2016. As a former World Number One and Major winner, I’m sure he has plenty of stories to tell about his career in the game.

“The Grosvenor House Hotel in London is a fitting venue once again for our annual PGA Lunch and we look forward to welcoming Justin and all guests in December.”

Tickets for the PGA Lunch in London start at £155 (exclusive of VAT) for a single place on a shared table. This includes a three-course meal, access to a cash bar and your company logo on the official event programme.
