A warm welcome: PGA induction days inspire Year 1 Trainees

The PGA is delighted to welcome Toro as sponsor for the eagerly anticipated PGA Members’ International Conference in Thailand.

The annual conference will be held from 20th – 23rd March next year and will once again bring together PGA Members and delegates from all over the world.

In addition to the education element and the chance to learn from golf industry experts, the conference affords delegates superb networking opportunities, with more than 45 Members and delegates from 16 countries attending the last time the conference was held in 2019.

As sponsor, Toro will be supporting PGA Members at the conference with educational content and updates on their latest technology, products and services to help Members make informed decisions on what is a significant investment in turf machinery.

Commenting on the announcement, Andy Brown, Senior Manager, Global Business Development & Relationships - The Toro Company, said: “We are delighted once again, to be supporting the PGA International Members’ conference in 2023.

“Toro recognises the importance of the golf professional in the long-term success of any club, and with many PGA Members wishing to continue their development through education, this is an excellent opportunity for us to discuss the development in technology that will assist all golf clubs in their delivery of a first-class golf course.”

DP World Tour and Asian Tour short game specialist coach, Matthew Tipper, leads a line-up of high-profile speakers confirmed for the 2023 PGA Members’ International Conference.

Tipper, who is originally from Porthcawl, South Wales, has travelled the world extensively having coached in Malaysia, Dubai, Poland, Portugal and China. He has worked and collaborated with the likes of PGA Master Professional David Leadbetter and he is the long-time coach to DP World Tour star Adrian Meronk.

Other guest speakers include; Chris Gray, Head of Agronomy & Sustainability at The R&A, PGA Master Professional, Paul Burley, Senior Vice President of IMG Golf Course Services and Mark Siegel, CEO Golf Asian.
