Event Information
A 54-hole strokeplay event, which consists of a field of 144 players, the English PGA Championship guarantees a competitive field.
Places are available for the last five PGA Professional Championship winners. The top 15 players from each of the seven PGA Regional Orders of Merit have also been given exemptions. All other places are determined by seven regional qualifiers.
History
After an eight-year hiatus, the English PGA Championship returned to the PGA National Schedule in 2018.
The inaugural event was staged at Goodwood in 2010 when Ben St John won the 54-hole tournament with a four-under-par score of 209.
