An exciting opportunity is being offered to PGA Members and Trainees of Great Britain & Ireland in partnership with The PGA of South Africa.

Members and Trainees are invited to join The PGA of South Africa’s annual online coaching conference, designed to explore the Four Pillars of Golf Performance: Swing Mechanics, Equipment Technology, Mental Management, and Physical Fitness.

The conference will take place across 5th and 6th October, with speakers covering a wide range of topics across the two days, sharing their expertise and experience in coaching.

“The moment we believe we know everything is the moment we stop learning. Professional development starts with recognising that there is always more to discover,” said Mark Skinner, Head of Business and Management Department at The PGA.

“Exposing yourself to different ideas and perspectives isn't always comfortable, as it can challenge long-held beliefs and assumptions, but that's often where the most valuable learning takes place.

“It broadens your understanding, helps you stay current and can introduce more effective ways of working. Ultimately, the most successful Professionals are those who remain curious, open-minded and committed to lifelong learning.

“The line-up of speakers is both varied and incredibly strong. I'm confident that everyone who attends across the two days will find something that resonates with them. Whether it's a fresh perspective, a solution to a challenge they're currently facing, a new idea they can apply immediately, or simply reassurance that they're up to date with the latest thinking in the industry, there will be plenty of practical takeaways.

“Ultimately, I'd like Members to leave feeling inspired, informed and motivated to continue developing their own coaching and professional practice.”

The cost to Members is £40 for each day. The quality and breadth of the speaker line-up will offer Members and Trainees excellent value.

“Not only do Members gain access to a wealth of expertise, but they can also join from wherever they are, making it both accessible and convenient,” Skinner added. “If I were attending, I'd have a notebook ready, come prepared with questions and make the most of the opportunity to learn from some outstanding presenters.

“I'm confident that anyone who engages fully will come away with ideas and insights that far outweigh the cost of attending.”

In his conference session, Morgan will dive into this approach to the psychological side of golf, using demonstrations and examples from the elite level of the game.

“The mental game is no longer optional at the highest level,” Morgan said. “In this session, we'll break down exactly how focus, thoughts, emotions, and state shape every swing, and I'll share practical tools you can implement immediately with your players to help them perform under pressure.

“At FlowCode, we use technology to make the mental game measurable, trainable, and most importantly, enjoyable. We'll cover how to structure mental game training that complements technical work, with real-world examples from Dr Rick Sessinghaus's 25+ year journey developing Collin Morikawa from age 8. Expect live demonstrations and actionable takeaways you can use the next day.”
